"what more can i dooooo, oh baby all i want for christmas is..."

stupid boys.

boys are dumb. and right now there are two clear, free of inclusions, multi-carat diamond quality crushes, maybe two other gems worth looking into and grading, and maybe a handfull of stones that need to be polished.

and while i know most likely none of these will make it onto my finger, i’d still like to try one of them on. :( you know, maybe for christmas.

stupid mariah carey song.

i used to love this song when i was younger. not that im wicked aged or anything, but when i was little my mom would play sinatra, h&o, billy ray, and all sorts of random…male… artists that i grew to love. lol.

well, and barbra.

Rest in Peace Uncle Benny

he was always in the background of family functions. Kinda like me. but he always made sure that you had a smile on your face. sharp and witty, he never let anyone feel left out, which meant a lot to me, as all the cousins were way older or way younger, and i hardly saw them anyway so i was never that close to the cousins. But Uncle Benny always gave a hug and shook my hand, and small words of encouragement.

im really going to miss him. i saw him up and about a couple weeks ago at his son’s wedding. after the function, my aunt told us that he had said to her, “Maria… i can die happy now.” and he’d had multiple heart problems, but the heart attack last week was one too many for his body to take.

please say a prayer for him. he really was a good man, and his family will miss him SO much.

thank you.

its hawt. esp at the end.

…Another similarity between the dynamics of the Reitan family and my own, is the embracing by Jake’s parents of his sexuality. They didn’t limit themselves to just tolerating their child’s sexual orientation, they came to accept it and nurtured him rather than trying to repress him…

one of the noobs im my fraternity, one of my favorites, wrote this in his respones about “For The Bible Tells Me So” which is a movie you should see atleast once.

it resonated with me. because for the most part my parents dont do that. i mean, i dont have it bad, i can think of plenty of horror stories, and im fully out… but still… it’s not easy with parents who dont seek to understand or relate, or open their minds, despite my attempts, and offering outlets, information, and everything i can think of.

:sigh: maybe one day.

my advisor was miley for halloween. there she looks like amanda bynes, which she also gets a lot, but she really does make a lot of miley faces.
i love my friends.
